I finally got to see my work in situ today at Nunhead's Kudu Grill. It's amazing how normal sized it looks compared to the beast it was taking up my "studio" while I was working on it! None of these shots really show the textures involved.

Many thanks to all of the organisers of yesterday's Camberwell Art Fair and to everybody that attended, especially if you were one of the people that bought any of the 12 pieces I sold. Ten paintings and two photographs I think. If there is anything you missed and it may still be in my online shop, so please check it out and if you would like to hear where I will be popping up next please sign up to my mailing list.
Finally, when you get your purchases up on the wall please post them and tag me [@stevewildeprints] on Instagram. Once again, thank you everybody. Camberwell Arts Southwark South Out Of Order Spaces Thanks to @mamfawilde for the photographs These things are proving difficult to photograph. Can't quite capture the richness of the copper leaf. The technique has evolved a little over the course of these four paintings. This one has two cut out bits from the previously warped canvas stuck to it and I ran out of jesmonite so have been using filler, which is almost paintable with! Also, the colours are considerably darker tan the previous three. I've just started number five so lets see where that goes. I think I'll stop at six as I have some new ideas to incorporate rusty metal and possibly perspex into the next paintings.
After a few more experiments I'm finally putting paint, cardboard, jesmonite, nails and copper leaf to canvas. This is a work in progress but it's progressing as I intended, which is always good.
