I've made a mock up of the sales I have made this year. Well, since August actually. Only one online sale, the rest have been through two galleries and two art markets; plus the commission... and there's still December to go! Just got to build on that now. So thank you if you bought one or more of these. it has been very much appreciated.

I got to eat at Kudu Grill, the restaurant that my commissioned painting is hung in, and it was bloody marvellous. T-Bone done on the braai and a great choice of South African wines. And I got to stand awkwardly by the painting for this photo! Back to preparing for Saturday's Camberwell Winter Arts Market and the Brixton Artists Circle Print Shop exhibition today.
I finally got to see my work in situ today at Nunhead's Kudu Grill. It's amazing how normal sized it looks compared to the beast it was taking up my "studio" while I was working on it! None of these shots really show the textures involved.
A cheeky sneak peek of todays install at Curious Kudu. The show opens tomorrow and we have a full house expected for our private view. My commission for Kudu Grill is being collected tomorrow morning so I will have a bit of space back with seven works out of the building and I can get one with my next commission, prepare for the Brixton Artists Circle Print Shop in December. i should have some more art market news this week too, I hope!
I will be popping up at Camberwell Arts Market on Saturday September 25th as part of the London Design Fair. The event runs from 11:00 - 17:00 and I will have a selection of small paintings and prints for sale.
Burgess Business Park Parkhouse Street SE5 7TJ In other news, the first of my Everything Is Broken series has sold as part of the Town House Open 2021 [you can still get to see it until September 12th. I am currently working on the fifth in this series, which I hope to be exhibiting later in the year. I will be putting this fifth one on hold for a while though as I will be starting a large commission next week. More on that when it is completed. Many thanks to Chris at Curious Kudu for this shot with the sold sticker! |
