I popped along to the Townhouse Gallery yesterday to see my painting in situ and all of the other works. It's a compact little show, but very well hung. I was particularly pleased with my exhibition cards, although collage isn't the whole story description wise. It has a piece of paper on it but it is mostly acrylic and oil pastels! Anyway, go along if you can, there were only three of my cards left unless they have stock in reserve [probably]

I added All Of This Could Have Been Avoided [above] and Sisyphus to the Facebook/Instagram store this morning. Saying that, they both lead you back here to contact me via email to purchase them but still. I may add them to my Emerging Artist page but as it has an eCommerce feature, but then I'd have to pay commission. Also, I'm still not 100% satisfied with the look of that page.
I'm off to the Townhouse Gallery to see my painting in situ and get some of the cards they produced of my painting, which hopefully I'll get paid for this month. I was approached by the Emerging Artist platform to join their ranks six weeks ago and it's been a bit of a bind getting anything online. It was supposed to take a couple of weeks to get my work online but I had to chase them up after a month before anything appeared and was advised to check everything was OK and to let them know of any changes that were needed. I did that a week ago and have chased them up twice since but nothing has changed and it looks terrible. Suffice to say I won't be adding this one once it's finished. If I don't get any joy by tomorrow I'm going to ask them to take the pages down.
I can finally post a picture of this as it is now in its new home. Quite aptly named as I'm in a week of gig going. Well, three nights in five. Dry Cleaning, Ghum and Pongo and finally EOB and Róisín Murphy. What with that and a cold I haven't got any painting done this week at all. I'm fine now though, thanks for asking.
I finished five new mixed media works on 24" x 20" wood panels during January, which I hope will do well in various competitions to be exhibited around the country. More of that later.
