I learned today that my Woven In Time piece is going to one of the promotional cards for the Townhouse Open Exhibition and will be available to buy from the gallery and online. Not sure when yet but I'm very pleased to be chosen.

A consignment of Stiffy Bags [stop snickering] has arrived ready for packing pictures to transport to exhibitions. Well, one definitely. Hopefully the other one will go ahead at some point. Same for my solo one, which was to be next January but there's already a 6 month backlog so who knows when that might be!
Rock'n'Roll print, with added gold leaf and certificate of authenticity ready to go to its new home. As soon as I can bear the 30 degree walk to the post office!
I can only assume that changes that Facebook made for small businesses during Covid lave led to this; because after over a year of trying to get it to work I can finally sell items through Instagram. Admittedly the products take you to this site and then either on to Etsy or a link to e-mail me for a Payment Link but still, it's cheaper than a monthly payment for an e-commerce option.
What's a payment Link I hear you ask. Well, a Payment Link is something that I will send to you via SMS, Whatsapp or email. It offers a great alternative payment method when you can’t pay face-to-face. Once I have sent the link you can enter your card details on your phone, tablet or computer. None of your information is stored and as soon as payment is sent the link is deactivated. A date has finally been announced for the Town House Open Exhibition, in Spitalfields, assuming there are no new Covid restrictions imposed in the meantime. The exhibition will run from September 12th to October 11th in the Town House Gallery in Fournier Street. My piece, Woven In Time [below] will be included in the show and available to buy.
And those Paypal buttons I was wittering on about a couple of weeks ago have been removed. Too ugly! |
