Waiting in for a UPS delivery of new acrylics this morning. Did a bit more to the collage, took some sandpaper to yesterdays piece [right] and did three layers on this small test canvas [left].

![]() Do a bit of everything, finish nothing. Got a little further with this, not any further with #41, uploaded a few more photos to Creative Hub, did some [much needed] Illustrator practice, started an alternative, mixed-media collage idea, for The Knowledge series. Should have gone for a walk in the sun instead! I'm busy uploading images to Creativehub at Printspace in anticipation of setting up my Shopify store in between riffing on some idea, painted over old canvases/boards. Like this one. Got wait for the paint/wax to dry to take a few implements to it to add some texture. So time to upload photos!
![]() I've been looking into what I need to know about all that GDPR stuff ahead of the potential Shopify store. I'm still not very clear. Hopefully they will handle any databases so I won't need to do anything. I thought something cookies related popped up on this site once but I haven't seen it since and I can't find anything about it on my ISP's website. Anyhoo, here's a 5" x 7" oil on canvas jam for your delectation. This is the piece I decided to enter into the Evening Standard Art prize. It was the closest of the four to what I'm trying to achieve for a series based on taxi routes from The Knowledge. It's 80cm x 60cm, oil and cold wax medium with gold acrylic [couldn't source any gold leaf in time].That was indeed a three month break. Missing the sun [well, the heat anyway] now after visits to France, Ibiza and Portugal. I've not been totally idle the past month though. I have set up a new studio space at home, entered something into a little competition to design a temporary menu cover for Pastaio [didn't win] and I'm currently working on four canvases to pick one to enter the Evening Standard Art Prize. After which it'll be back to the stuff mentioned in the previous post, back in June! Studio space [should have pulled that curtain] and competition entry ![]() There's been a bit of an arty lull while I consider the fact that I need to earn a bit of an income soon. So I'm considering opening a Shopify store to link with my Printspace account so that I can sell photographic prints and digital art works to start with. I'm in the process of creating a batch of London-centric works at the moment which will also be available through the store and I will be doing some work on this site to coincide with that. Quite when I'm going to start I'm not sure as I'm in and out of the country over the next three months and don't really want to be faffing about with websites when I could be in the sun! The first piece to near completion to go into the store is this... This will be an A2 giclee print eventually
