When you want to try to avoid using social media so much, starting selling online is probably not the best idea! In between attending to digital matters this piece I posted on 27/11 has progressed a bit and I just had a "turn it on its side revelation"! The text [if you can read it at this size] is an Anne Sexton quote; “I am alone here in my own mind. There is no map and there is no road. It is one of a kind just as yours is.” Anyway, this post is just a distraction from doing my Christmas shopping!

Seems an apt title given the connections I draw between random bits of wall; ghost signs, graffiti removal and the general wear and tear of concrete, wood and paintwork. It has certainly fed my Instagram feed and seems to be the direction any painting I do wants to go. So I think I'll just give in and follow it. I must stop using my phone to photograph these things! Mixed media on board 14.5" x 14.5" Sigh... After a couple of sales I have come to realise that I can't afford to absorb the cost of postage on print sales. Sorry about that. I've also been asked for bigger prints a couple of times now. I will attempt to shoot any future images at a higher resolution [or shoot walls in smaller parts and stitch them together to overcome my camera's shortcomings!] but for now any images already on sale just won't stand being printed at a larger size. I have added this image, which is a digital manipulation of RF_0025 and is available as a 36" x 24" limited edition of 10 at £125.00 |
